I have lots of sparrows at my feeders and in my bushes.

A few years ago, a brown thrasher knocked itself out on my front window, trying to get at my cats who were closely watching the bird activity. I really thought it was dead. It took about 10 minutes for it to reopen its eyes, and a good half-hour for it to regain enough consciousness to get back on its feet, hop around and finally fly off. It was interesting to watch.Pat - Arkansashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11623638376731374600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12261260.post-41852971625248879092011-02-03T12:43:14.841-06:002011-02-03T12:43:14.841-06:00The chap in the top photo looks pretty tired. The chap in the top photo looks pretty tired.K T Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10259428595745509790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12261260.post-52025110544200472152011-02-03T12:22:22.051-06:002011-02-03T12:22:22.051-06:00Ooh, lots of great information! I was so pleased because I hear them all summer while up in Cape Breton, but never see them. ~karenKaHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02528677007819875856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12261260.post-54152965731395124662011-02-03T11:59:42.166-06:002011-02-03T11:59:42.166-06:00Glad it recovered from the window stike..
