Beautiful pictures Marvin. After watching all the Star Wars movies this past few days the first pictures reminds me of some of the space ships they have in the movies. Prepare for warp speed.
Awesome capture with the butterfly on the coneflower! Around here butterflies don't seem to stand still long enough for me to get ANY pictures of them, nevermind ones as lovely as these. Kudos!
Very nice pictures. But those butterflies just don't keep their wings open very long, do they? I was trying to get a picture of a similar one today. It looked much the same with wings closed, but a shot of them open was almost impossible. I got one, but just from holding the shutter down.

That bottom photo has to be one of the BEST butterfly or moth photos I've ever seen. I find it so interesting how the spots on his wings mimic the light spots of the greenery behind him. Life's evolution and adaptation to it's environment NEVER ceases to amaze me.
