Garden 2011: Planting Corn

Jo planting corn while Rusty watches intently. Dogs believe dog treats are the one and only small items ever contained within small bags. One year we when we weren't paying attention, Rusty dug up and ate several of the green beans Jo had planted. We kept a watchful eye on him this time.

  1. Rusty is on point. I don't use bonemeal when I plant tulips or other bulbs any more because Luna digs it up and eats too much dirt. Then she is sick for awhile. Dogs will be dogs.

  2. Nice photos--the dog is so intense. Hope she doesn't eat your corn.

  3. Great Capture! I think I saw the Jo for the first time. She is very dedicate to her work. Hoping Rusty will not spoil her work.

  4. That's too funny about Rusty! I know one has to watch for the birds and possibly deer...but the dog? *LOL*
Sorry for my recent absence. I was gone on a road trip.

  5. Have been out of the loop these last several weeks. I see it's planting time, again! Glad you have the weather for it. Today was the first nice, spring day here in Cape Breton, and had to spend it mowing, mowing, mowing.....Karen
