Log Hoop

With an Arctic blast headed our way, I spent part of the afternoon splitting firewood and restocking our porch log hoop. This afternoon was sunny with a temperature pushing 70°F/21°C. The front started moving through around ten o'clock. Now it's 35°F/2°C and falling @ 1:00 AM. And it's snowing.

  3. Our woodpile is much the same size as it was in November, although that could start to change here tomorrow.

  4. I'm bringing in wood also and stoking the fire still. We had a mix of rain and snow this morning, turning to all rain by noon time, the stopping with the temperatures dropping for the night. Warmer tomorrow but this weekend we will get a real arctic blast. I'll build another fire then. Hope you stay warm! I wrote a poem about this on Kathie's Poet Tree if you would like to read it! P.S. It's short!
