Juniper Hairstreak (Callophrys gryneus)
This small little butterfly (1 1/2" or so) was nectaring on some Slender Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium) in the field area behind the garden.

Juniper Hairstreak (Callophrys gryneus)
