Pond scum continues bubbling. The plot (pond?) thickens.

What makes it bubble?

That string algae is the clogger. When the temps fluctuate like they have been, I see it grow overnight. Another freeze would be good...

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble are the spirits about to speak?

Stacie: I don't really know. I'm assuming that the algae produces the bubbles to help it float and remain near the surface, but I don't know how. Google hasn't been much help.

You're right, Mary. The algae wouldn't like ice on the pond.

Thanks, Tom.

Hi I've certainly seen this before, in a pan on our cooker... Jane calls it dinner... her cooking is not her strong point. ;o)

Oh, Tom, don't look now, but I fear you're in trouble again -- ah, still.
