I think this tree just might have bugs.

  1. Hi there Marvin..
I was out today with Peter and we came across just such a tree... I will post it next week and when I do I'll let you know...

  3. Last year I had a pair of woodpeckers in my live oak tree. They stripped the bark off the tree until I tied a plastic sack in the tree. They are really pretty birds.

  5. Wow! Those are some mighty big Woodpecker holes! Around here the holes are much smaller! The hummingbirds will use the holes for nesting. A very interesting photo.

  6. HA I guess it won't have bugs soon. I've become concerned about my bird feeder tree: the woodpeckers seem to be damaging it. Bark is disappearing. It is looking worn out. I hope to find a tree such as this in the woods.

  7. Heh...Dr. Woodpecker's "cure" is worse than the disease, sez' Mr. Tree!

  8. I'm a breast cancer patient, stage iv, looking for inspiration on an emotionally rough night.

I want to create a small piece of art to give my doctor as a symbol of my thanks as we continue with some awfully difficult treatments.

And imagine my shock in seeing the symbolism here and on other pages, including very old books! Oh - yes, the missing detail, my doctor's name means "woodpecker" in another language. Haha. What synchronicity.

Thank you for a great piece of visualization I can use to get through my treatments and send strength to my doctor! OUT WITH THE BUGS!
