  1. A little 'meanie,' hu?

And btw, you are not the _only_ one, who can use insects, as a subject. >,-) Well, you do a much better close-up job of it, but... It's a start! >,-)

  2. To think that pretty little ladybugs evolve from this! Totally fascinating. I have been wondering what the larva look like.

  3. Interesting! I had no idea what the ladybird larvae looked like.

You are doing some superb macro insect photography. My hat is off to you!

  4. Such a contrast from the adult form. Do you know they sell "kits" of these so children can watch them metamorphose? They come with instructions to feed them raisins!

    Really nice photo, Marvin.

  5. That's exactly why I don't spary chemicals on anything.

But I do visit and I do comment and I was here. I did look at your picture(s) and I did read what you wrote about them. I could say how great you are and how beautiful your work is but alas I would soon run out of things to say on the next blog I visited, so I just left this to prove I stopped and said a few words on Sunday.

  6. Great photo Marvin. This looks like a bug that bit the back of my leg and left a welt. I wonder if this is what did that or if it was one of those dark jumpy spiders? Hmmm.
