Tree Shadow in the Snow
Lovely, snowy shadows! Terrific capture! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend! Stay warm!Sylvia
The sun is out here today. I bet I could get all sorts of shadow shots. This is a good one.
I think snow makes a wonderful canvas for tree shadows. Bare trees are so very graceful.
You got a LOT more snow than we did here. Nice shadow shot, Marvin.
Great shot, Marvin. You've got to be on the lookout for those and you caught it perfectly.
Lovely winter scene and terrific soft shadows.
Beautiful! We recently had an Oak removed, and this opened up some new opportunities for tree shadow pictures. I was able to grab this one with my cell phone camera:http://anothermonkey.blogspot.com/2011/01/tree-shadows-and-bonus-spaceman.html
Gorgeous shadow shot! My shadow shot, hope you can come by.
Yeah for sunshine (for you) - yeah for snow (for me) ;-)!
The trees make lacy shadow patterns. NIce for you to have a little bit of sun this time of year.
Looks pretty shadow shot and of course cold. happy SSS!Mine is here
That's very pretty! Such a pitty that the clouds came along after and ruined the sunshine. Such is winter I guess.I loved your comment about your little dog running around eating grasshoppers! I've never seen a dog do this! How gorgeous. And helpful!Have a great week!
Looks very cold...yet the sunlight makes it inviting enough to want to play.SHELL SHADOWhttp://hootin--anni.blogspot.com/2011/01/shadowy-existence-amongst-dust.htmlHope your weekend has been treating you well.
IF SHADOWS COULD TALKIf shadows could talk,Just what would they say?If you listen close,You’ll hear them, you may.Shadows do chatterAnd gossip and talkIn the store windows,Along the sidewalk,Over the mountains,On prairie and plain,Begging for sunshineAnd not days of rain;Emboldened by light,The stark shadows say:“We’re out for a lark,Please join us at play!”© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherShadow Sweeper
Had a beautiful and warm day at the beach this afternoon... Not a flake of snow in sight...All the best to you and your better-half in 2011!
The sun does make the cold weather a bit more tolerable...a bit...Michelle
