Wednesday Afternoon's Sky

Wednesday afternoon was beautiful in the Arkansas Ozarks.  I took this shot of my neighbors pasture while on our afternoon walk.  It's hard to believe we have a 90% chance of snow on Thursday.

Pretty sky, Marvin. Our sky was cloudy yesterday, and completely gray this morning. Mist heavy enough to fall to the ground, but not rain (or snow) yet.

Happy SWF. Beautiful sky. Here it is gray and full of snow pouring down.

Pat: Our Wednesday started out overcast too. I was very surprised to see so much clearing during the afternoon.

Lisa: Gray, snowing and wind blowing here too on Thursday morning.

Beautiful! We visited your area a couple of years ago in the spectacular Fall and would love to come back someday. It IS hard to believe from that golden picture that you were expecting snow.

Nicole: This photo almost makes it look as if I live on a prairie instead of in the hills. Our ridge tops tend to be flat.

Sallie: I agree, but regardless of appearances, we currently have a couple of inches of snow on the ground.

Tanya: Thanks for the visit. Springfield is usually the place we do our "big city" shopping.

Vernz: I've seen a lot of whitetailed deer on that pasture -- and even a neighbor's donkey that got loose and went visiting -- but seeing a zebra would be quite a surprise.
