I love those big old lone oaks. Closer examination of the photo reveals quite a few limbs on the ground beneath the tree. Remainders of the ice storms?

Yes, limbs on the ground are from our major ice storm of January, 2009.

I have an uncle named Marvin. Oak tree stands there in the pasture proud and being quiet with its stories. Excellent piece of work.

I like the oak tree in the pasture--bet it is pretty in the Spring with leaves on it. I see you make wooden spoons. A friend gave me a handmade one for Christmas several years ago--it is beautiful!!! Mickie
