What makes it bubble?
That string algae is the clogger. When the temps fluctuate like they have been, I see it grow overnight. Another freeze would be good...

Hi I've certainly seen this before, in a pan on our cooker... Jane calls it dinner... her cooking is not her strong point. ;o)
